I’m Dasjiah Owens, a private chef and certified holistic nutritionist based in North Carolina. My culinary passion lies in creating vibrant, seasonal dishes that highlight the beauty of fresh ingredients and celebrate the connection between food and well-being. Specializing in veg-forward cuisine allows me to cater to diverse dietary preferences, ensuring each dish is nourishing and full of flavor. While my expertise is deeply rooted in these styles, I also have the flexibility to create custom menus that accommodate other dietary needs or preferences. I hold a degree in Culinary Nutrition. My journey into the culinary world began at Johnson & Wales University, where I developed a solid foundation in both classic and innovative cooking techniques. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work in various kitchens, refining my skills and taking on leadership roles within the restaurant industry. This formal training, combined with my ongoing commitment to learning, allows me to create dishes that are not only delicious but also support optimal health and well-being.
